Seville (Andalusia) 1996: A group of youngsters from the working class area of La Macarena, raised between drugs and marginal music, decided to create a rock band. They got a rehearsal space and quickly started working on their first album “Satán Vive” (Satan lives – Warner 1997). The first LP broke the mould of the hard-rock scene in Spain putting Narco among the heavy names of spanish extreme music. Their sound is crude and brutal, mixing satanic and gangsta narcotic lyrics with rude guitars and strong drums. After “Satan Vive” they released “
Talego pom Pom” (Warner 1999) and “Chaparrón de Plomo” (Warner 2001). These two albums consolidated Narco as an indispensable band in the spanish scene while their sound was evolving and incorporating new influences.

The release of their fourth album “Registro de Penados y Rebeldes” (Record of convicts and rebels – Warner 2003) sparked controversy by featuring a video game where some sevillian famous religious icons appeared as zombies that the player must kill. The members of the band were arrested and accused of attacking the religious fervor of the city. The judicial matters mixed with personal problems, alcohol and drugs made the band split up so the members embarked on different projects during the following five years.

In 2007 the band regroups and returns to the music scene. In 2010 they release “Alita de Mosca” (Maldito Records – 2010), their most elaborated and successful album until now. A year later, they gave away the Alita de Mosca remix album “La Rave del infierno” to their fans. In this album they mixed the sounds of metal, hardcore and rap with electronica of different genres like drum and bass, techno and dubstep. Narco is currently at its best playing around festivals all over Spain and planning to start touring different foreign countries. The last album is a free download LP of covers that includes versions of bands like Sodom, The Prodigy and Dead kennedys. Be prepared while you wait to the next studio album, Narco is planning to visit your city sooner than you think…
